Mildred Lyles

Mildred Davidson Lyles, 90 of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care, in Scottsville, KY. She was born September 19, 1926 in Warren County, KY to the late Tommy Forest Davidson and Zula Goad Davidson. She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Grove General Baptist Church for over sixty years where she served in the past as church clerk. She was a member of the Halfway Lodge Eastern Star for over fifty years where she held several offices. She is survived by two sons, Herman Lyles and wife Gloria of Scottsville, KY and Terry Lyles of Scottsville, KY One grandchild Christopher Lyles, one step grandchild Celicia Harmon and husband Bruce and two step great grandchildren, Danica Harmon & Westin Harmon all of Scottsville. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband's Gerald Dixon Lyles and Dr. Dewey Glen Lyles, two brothers Thomas Davidson and Stanley Davidson, four Sisters Kathleen Pruitt, Virginia Pearson, Elizabeth Kinser, and Jean Howard. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Harwood & Strode Funeral Home, Scottsville, KY with burial to follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, June 22, 2017 and after 7:30 AM Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Harwood & Strode Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to the Old Liberty Cemetery and can be made at the funeral Home.
