Junior Crone

Junior Crone, 68 of Scottsville passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Scottsville, KY. He was born January 3, 1950 in Scottsville, KY to the late Ralph C. Crone Sr. and Gladys King Frost. He married Wanda Harrison Crone who survives on July 20, 1968 in Gallatin, TN. He was the owner of Crone Recycling and attended Victory Hill Ministries. He was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid car collector and enjoyed being on the farm. Above all he loved his lord and shared the gospel with everyone he could. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his wife he is survived by; three daughters Melissa "Missy" White and husband Randy of Scottsville, KY; Crystall "Chrissy" Crone of Bowling Green, KY and Brandie Lee and husband Shane of Scottsville, KY. One brother; Jimmy Crone of Tennessee Three sisters; Wanda Strode and husband William of Scottsville, KY, Diane Mahaney and husband Larry of Scottsville, KY and Joyce Morgan and husband Jessie of Scottsville, KY. Six grandchildren; Brian Tuck and wife Audrey, Ben White and Wife Kolby, Alison White, Madison Lee, Hayden Grace Lee and Broxton Wix. One great-grandchild Grady Lewis White also survives. In addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by two brothers; Bobby Frost Sr. and William Frost. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday July 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Harwood and Strode Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville, KY. Visitation will be from 2:00PM-8:00PM Monday July 2, 2018, 7:30AM-8:00PM Tuesday July 3, 2018 and after 7:30AM Wednesday July 4, 2018 until time of the funeral service at Harwood and Strode Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and can be made at the funeral home.
